Kaká Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Inácio Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romário Trigo's late challenge caught a Chambica SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romário Trigo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chambica SC booed when NOVORIZONTINO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Amadeu Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cauan Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Monteiro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ramiro Zonta. Gualter Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inácio Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualter Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute of the match, Gualter Lima got a very nice opportunity to score, but Inácio Monteiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cauan Quintal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Guilherme Baiano's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Gualter Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Inácio Monteiro made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Magalhães in the 37th minute of play forced Chambica SC's goalkeeper Inácio Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Chambica SC's Luiz Guilherme Baiano in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NOVORIZONTINO's goalie prevented a goal. Kaká Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. If Amadeu Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Chambica SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Lima came free, but Inácio Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gildo Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Inácio Monteiro came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by NOVORIZONTINO's Kaká Magalhães. But to his dismay, Kaká Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Gualter Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inácio Monteiro was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Léo Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. NOVORIZONTINO's Kaká Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Gualter Lima put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Inácio Monteiro. Jefferson Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chambica SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! For all the effort they put into the match, the Chambica SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for NOVORIZONTINO.
