A collision led to Itabapoana getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ramiro Linares hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Ademar Marinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edinho Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Vladimir da Silveira made a huge save. Ademar Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir da Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademar Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. If Edinho Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Itabapoana's Chico da Fonseca in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tom Original FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chico da Fonseca in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beto Campidelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Marco Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jefferson Massa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Tom Original FC's Ademar Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimir da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Itabapoana's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Marinho came free, but Vladimir da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Campidelis having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Chico da Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beto Campidelis was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Cristian Dias hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Marco Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beto Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tom Original FC's goalkeeper Beto Campidelis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beto Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico da Fonseca in the 39th minute of play. Tom Original FC's Beto Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Novaes in the 40th minute of play. Beto Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico da Fonseca in the 42nd minute of the match. Chico da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Campidelis having to interfere. Tom Original FC's Beto Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico da Fonseca in the 46th minute of play. Beto Campidelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chico da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ademar Marinho to make the kick off. Ademar Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir da Silveira having to interfere. Beto Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Beto Campidelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chico da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Osvaldo Paulista charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldo Paulista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dalmo Tepedino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. Vladimir da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco de Queiroz in the 72nd minute of the match. Denílson Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Campidelis having to interfere. If Emerson da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Chico da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chico da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Beto Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Jefferson Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tom Original FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itabapoana the free kick. After 88 played minutes Tom Original FC got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Massa. Chico da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denílson Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chico da Fonseca scored 1-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beto Campidelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 99 minutes, Denílson Leite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itabapoana and the Tom Original FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Itabapoana getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Denílson Leite hit a great ball. The Tom Original FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Itabapoana were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
