If Amadeu Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd match minute, CA 312 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamim Dionísio to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amadeu Mangueira was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Chambica SC booed when CA 312 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, André Luís Dracena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA 312 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Wilton Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Guilherme Baiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CA 312 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
