Cauan Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Donato in the 23rd minute of the match. Gualter Lima scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Urbano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, NOVORIZONTINO's goal looked a bit too open when Luisão Secco came free, but Cauan Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Valdomiro Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauan Quintal. NOVORIZONTINO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdomiro Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Jonathan Urbano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Claudinho Cunha. Jonathan Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Magalhães in the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Luisão Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marcolino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisão Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdomiro Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan Quintal having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaká Magalhães to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind NOVORIZONTINO's goalkeeper Cauan Quintal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Kaká Magalhães came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the NOVORIZONTINO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaká Magalhães couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Lima in the 55th minute of play forced Marcolino FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Kaká Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kaká Magalhães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Urbano was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 69 minutes into the match, Marcolino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Magalhães came free, but Jonathan Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualter Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Urbano having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká Magalhães in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Urbano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 played minutes Marcolino FC got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Maciel. Cauan Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisão Secco in the 91st minute. If Luisão Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Marcolino FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
