Zion F.C's Luiz Fabiano Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Sampaio in the 45th minute of play. Luiz Paulo Cardoso's late challenge caught a Bernardo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Paulo Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. Luiz Paulo Cardoso hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito Sousa in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fabiano Dracena saved Zion F.C from getting behind. After the first half Bernardo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vito Sousa was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Fabiano Dracena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Sousa's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Bernardo's Vito Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Zion F.C getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Edmundo Lopes hit a great ball. Zion F.C's Luiz Fabiano Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Sousa in the 57th minute of play. Dalmo Gerber hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Zion F.C's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Dracena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Sampaio. The Zion F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bernardo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
