The audience was convinced that Nilton Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaká Capixaba was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Kaká Capixaba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Bambu SS were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kaká Capixaba was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nilton Alagoano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 93 minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Bambu SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Kaká Capixaba successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bambu SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
