Zion F.C's Luiz Fabiano Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Alagoano in the 3rd minute of play. Mauro Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Luiz Fabiano Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bambu SS's Mauro Aparecido in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zion F.C's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Aparecido in the 10th minute of play forced Zion F.C's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elder Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Luiz Fabiano Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Murillo de Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bambu SS and the Zion F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Bambu SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zion F.C:s goal. Aloísio Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nilton Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fabiano Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilton Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, Zion F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Salles to maneuver through the defense. The Bambu SS fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Bambu SS's Nilton Alagoano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nilton Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bambu SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilton Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fabiano Dracena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the game, Mauro Aparecido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Luiz Fabiano Dracena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the game, Bambu SS's Mauro Aparecido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fabiano Dracena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nilton Alagoano to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fabiano Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Alagoano in the 55th minute of play. Elder Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Dracena having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilton Alagoano in the 58th minute of play forced Zion F.C's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bambu SS's Nilton Alagoano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luiz Fabiano Dracena. That made the score 1-5 after 62 minutes of play. Nilton Alagoano might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Fabiano Dracena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nilton Alagoano ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 69 minutes, Nilton Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bambu SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilton Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bambu SS's Nilton Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilton Alagoano in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fabiano Dracena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nilton Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Dracena having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Bambu SS's Nilton Alagoano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fabiano Dracena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Fabiano Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Freitas in the 83rd minute of play. When Enéas Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Bambu SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enéas Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Zion F.C defense, Nilton Alagoano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fabiano Dracena. The Zion F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fabiano Dracena should have stopped the shot. Luiz Fabiano Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Alagoano in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute Nilton Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Dracena was a little too slow when Nilton Alagoano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-7. Bambu SS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
