Josué Moreno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kléberson Santana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Setubinha SS getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Luiz Paulo Alagoano hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Setubinha SS defense, Ciro Porto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kléberson Santana. The Setubinha SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kléberson Santana should have stopped the shot. Josué Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Ciro Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josué Moreno in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kléberson Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Josué Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Ciro Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Ciro Porto in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 41st minute Ciro Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Ciro Porto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ciro Porto made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Josué Moreno could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Kléberson Santana however easily saved by the left post. Josué Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Setubinha SS's Kléberson Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Porto in the 63rd minute of play. When Cauacu's Ciro Porto in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Setubinha SS's goalie prevented a goal. Ciro Porto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Kléberson Santana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 67 played minutes Setubinha SS got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Alagoano. After 70 played minutes, Cauacu's William Mesquita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kléberson Santana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cauacu reached it. Kléberson Santana made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Josué Moreno sent off a good shot on target. Kléberson Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josué Moreno in the 81st minute. In the 81st minute, Elivélton Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Josué Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléberson Santana having to interfere. During the 92nd minute of the match Luiz Paulo Alagoano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luiz Paulo Alagoano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 96th minute, Ciro Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kléberson Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Porto in the 98th minute of play.
