The crowd rose to their feet as Valdomiro Trigo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Serafim Alvarenga. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Vadim Turov struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Aílton Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Treviso Italia. 30 minutes into the match, Michel do Nascimento notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of AS Treviso Italia's Serafim Alvarenga. Serafim Alvarenga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giovani Branco made a kick off. Borussia Dortmund's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodolfo Secco in the 54th minute. After taking down the ball on Borussia Dortmund's corner Rodolfo Secco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Serafim Alvarenga quite easily take care of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Vadim Turov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aílton Paiva, 2-1. 60 minutes into the game, Álvaro Romero threw the ball into play from the sideline. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Rocha in the 97th minute of play forced AS Treviso Italia's goalkeeper Serafim Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borussia Dortmund's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
