The referee ignored AS Treviso Italia's protests and gave Marcinho Alves a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Igualdade SC booed when AS Treviso Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cássio Peixoto came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Igualdade SC fans jumped to their feet. Igualdade SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Vadim Turov put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Geovânio França. Cássio Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Serafim Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half AS Treviso Italia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vadim Turov to strike the kick off in the second half. Cássio Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josué Paes scored 1-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafim Alvarenga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, AS Treviso Italia's Vadim Turov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geovânio França. In the 90th minute, Josué Paes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafim Alvarenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Marcinho Alves was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AS Treviso Italia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
