The referee ignored AS Treviso Italia's protests and gave Marcinho Alves a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes AS Treviso Italia got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho Alves. After 10 played minutes Queimasangue got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Porto. Maurício da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vadim Turov in the 12th minute of play. Serafim Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benê Schmidt in the 13th minute of the match. Vadim Turov scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurício da Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Vadim Turov came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the AS Treviso Italia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vadim Turov couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Queimasangue booed when AS Treviso Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Benê Schmidt notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AS Treviso Italia's Serafim Alvarenga. Serafim Alvarenga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vadim Turov to strike the kick off in the second half. Luisão Porto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serafim Alvarenga came out and tried to block the shot, but Luisão Porto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benê Schmidt got free with Serafim Alvarenga in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Queimasangue's zone, Vadim Turov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício da Silveira came out of the goal and Vadim Turov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benê Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Serafim Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Vadim Turov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício da Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 88 minutes into the game, Vadim Turov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Maurício da Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Luisão Porto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafim Alvarenga was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. AS Treviso Italia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
