Spectators: 5050 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Váldson Batista kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Juntalino Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson França to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Juntalino Stars's Jonathan Cardoso got control of the ball when Giovani Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vito Catarinense took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Guilherme Moreira. SC GALÁCTICOS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Juntalino Stars's Francisco de Moraes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Guilherme Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, SC GALÁCTICOS's Váldson Batista ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Cardoso. Jonathan Cardoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Giovani Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC GALÁCTICOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Giovani Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Francisco de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Juntalino Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caco Furtado to maneuver through the defense. When Váldson Batista came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the SC GALÁCTICOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Váldson Batista couldn't finish the play. Francisco de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Guilherme Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adilson Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Guilherme Moreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco de Moraes went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The SC GALÁCTICOS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Juntalino Stars were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco de Moraes to strike the kick off in the second half. If Váldson Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Váldson Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jonathan Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Juntalino Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Tavares came free, but Jonathan Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Váldson Batista put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Cardoso. The corner ended in David Ceresso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC GALÁCTICOS's Luiz Guilherme Moreira did a great save. After a rather tough play, SC GALÁCTICOS's Murillo Rocha got a free kick in the 87th minute. Francisco de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Luiz Guilherme Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco de Moraes in the 94th minute of play. Francisco de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Moreira having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Moreira made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Adilson Faria sent off a good shot on target. The Juntalino Stars supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Juntalino Stars would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
