Spectators: 6649 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Conrado Leal took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Conrado Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aracatiara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Veloso was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Manfredo Valle capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manfredo Valle really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Salitre's Luciano Jacinto got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 13 minutes Salitre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Pedro Paiva who took care of the corner kick. Zé Pedro Paiva made a great header on Aracatiara's corner, it was just that Salitre's Frank Veloso managed to reach the ball for a save. When Tiaguinho Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salitre's protests and gave Tiaguinho Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Tiaguinho Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Donatello Mumbach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulysses Alvarenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adhemar Queiroz got free with Frank Veloso in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiaguinho Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ulysses Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donatello Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Alvarenga having to interfere. Benjamim Dias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frank Veloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Benjamim Dias slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Leal in the 33rd minute of play forced Salitre's goalkeeper Frank Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Aracatiara getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. André Luiz Valladares hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Donatello Mumbach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salitre's supporters rose to their feet, but Donatello Mumbach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysses Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Salitre booed when Aracatiara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Leal might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frank Veloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Leal ran back to his position shaking his head. Adhemar Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Frank Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adhemar Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Dias in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donatello Mumbach made a kick off. Manfredo Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Veloso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Leal in the 56th minute of play forced Salitre's goalkeeper Frank Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Frank Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Aracatiara booed when Salitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adhemar Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Conrado Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Donatello Mumbach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salitre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aracatiara the free kick. Adhemar Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Frank Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Salitre's zone, Conrado Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Veloso came out of the goal and Conrado Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, André Luiz Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Conrado Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Leal scored 3-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Veloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aracatiara's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
