If Donatello Mumbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Fantini in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Rômulo Fantini lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Frank Veloso. Frank Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The supporters of Lara Drummond FC booed when Salitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lara Drummond FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lara Drummond FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
