Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yuri Marinho to make the kick off. Percival Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bittersweet's Célio Nascimento got a free kick in the 60th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fellipe Senna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Telmo Bertassi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match.
