José Paulo Camargo came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Hendrikx FC's Sidnei Urbano. But to his dismay, Sidnei Urbano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Diamantino Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itanhem SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hendrikx FC the free kick. In the 9th minute, Diamantino Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Hendrikx FC's Valdemar Quadros got control of the ball when Betinho Paulista tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute Sidnei Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Sidnei Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Paulo Camargo. Itanhem SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sidnei Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sidnei Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Galvão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Paulo Camargo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Betinho Paulista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Valdemar Quadros made a huge save. A collision led to Hendrikx FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Luís Paulo das Neves hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Quadros in the 33rd minute of play forced Hendrikx FC's goalkeeper Valdemar Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdemar Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Kléber Dionísio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Valdemar Quadros made a huge save. In the 40th match minute, Itanhem SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano França to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Sidnei Urbano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Paulo Camargo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The Itanhem SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hendrikx FC were winning 0-3.

Hendrikx FC's Miguel Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Paulo Camargo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Galvão went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Itanhem SS's zone, Sidnei Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Paulo Camargo came out of the goal and Sidnei Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hendrikx FC booed when Itanhem SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Miguel Galvão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Paulo Camargo. Itanhem SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Galvão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 74th minute, Hendrikx FC's Sidnei Urbano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Paulo Camargo. José Paulo Camargo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano França during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Itanhem SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano França to maneuver through the defense. Sidnei Urbano in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Paulo Camargo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Valdemar Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano França in the 81st minute of the match. Wesley Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sidnei Urbano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but José Paulo Camargo firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Miguel Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hendrikx FC's Miguel Galvão managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Claudinho Carioca in the 96 minute of the game. José Paulo Camargo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sidnei Urbano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 97 minute of play.
