S.E. Porcos Verdes's Evandro de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizinho Saldanha in the 22nd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tejuco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! The referee gave S.E. Porcos Verdes a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alexandre Teixeira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tejuco's Dieguinho Faria. 1-0. Evandro de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Vergílio in the 38th minute of play. If Allan Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Allan Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luizinho Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro de Lara having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Luizinho Saldanha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evandro de Lara having to make a save. Tião Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Evandro de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evandro de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizinho Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Lucas in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dieguinho Faria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71stth minute of the game Jerônimo Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tejuco's Dieguinho Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 72 minutes, Jerônimo Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.E. Porcos Verdes and the Tejuco players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizinho Saldanha in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evandro de Lara saved S.E. Porcos Verdes from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Paulo Renato Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Luizinho Saldanha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Evandro de Lara. That made the score 1-1 in the 79 minute of play. Luizinho Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evandro de Lara made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Luizinho Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Allan Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tejuco's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Vergílio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evandro de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th play minute Allan Vergílio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Evandro de Lara. 1-2. Beto Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieguinho Faria having to interfere. When the match was over Tejuco could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.E. Porcos Verdes throughout the match.
