Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5461, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Horácio Catarinense kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Los Hurricanes got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Catarinense. Denílson Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval de Alcântara in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Horácio Catarinense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CFZ's Denílson Gaúcho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Durval de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Denílson Gaúcho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Hurricanes. CFZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Horácio Catarinense scored to the left of an out of position Denílson Gaúcho, making the score, 1-0. Serginho Eger took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson Gaúcho. Denílson Gaúcho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Durval de Alcântara hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Baltazar Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If João Vítor Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Hurricanes were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after CFZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Fernando Nóbrega took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Horácio Catarinense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Denílson Gaúcho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Serginho Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 32 in the game by Horácio Catarinense from a close distance when the talented Denílson Gaúcho managed to make a qualified save. CFZ's players were relieved. Rubens Zanette got a throw-in 34 minutes in the game and the ball was received by João Vítor Miranda. In the 38th match minute, Los Hurricanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. When Los Hurricanes's Horácio Catarinense in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CFZ's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Julian Odol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hurricanes's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Odol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson Gaúcho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horácio Catarinense in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denílson Gaúcho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Vítor Miranda to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CFZ getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fabiano Paes hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Horácio Catarinense sped through CFZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denílson Gaúcho. After 57 minutes, Rubens Zanette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CFZ and the Los Hurricanes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CFZ's Rubens Zanette got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Los Hurricanes's Horácio Catarinense in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CFZ's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horácio Catarinense in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denílson Gaúcho saved CFZ from getting behind. After having played for 61 minutes, Victor Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Hurricanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Los Hurricanes's Horácio Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes in the game Rubens Zanette did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cléberson Ferraz. Jacinto Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Horácio Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Denílson Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denílson Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Odol in the 78th minute of the match. Denílson Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Catarinense in the 81st minute of play. Durval de Alcântara took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson Gaúcho. Denílson Gaúcho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 86thth minute of the game Horácio Catarinense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CFZ's Denílson Gaúcho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Denílson Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Hurricanes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
