Kauan Cruz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fiori Pombal. H Romeu F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kauan Cruz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. JcUchih's Lucas Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, H Romeu F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Cruz came free, but Fiori Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Gilberto Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Rezende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fiori Pombal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Evandro Salgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fiori Pombal. H Romeu F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evandro Salgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Thomás Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Lima in the 70th minute of the match. Gilberto Bueno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Fiori Pombal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 77th minute Evandro Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastião Rezende might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fiori Pombal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastião Rezende ran back to his position shaking his head. Kauan Cruz took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fiori Pombal. Fiori Pombal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Fiori Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Bueno's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. With his leg Fiori Pombal managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when JcUchih's Gilberto Bueno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
