Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mathias Leão kicked off to start the match. Valdemar Quadros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias Leão went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 8th minute Hortêncio Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidnei Urbano might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clóvis Ferreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sidnei Urbano ran back to his position shaking his head. After 11 played minutes MoNsTaRs got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo de Salles. Clóvis Ferreira acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Miguel Galvão. Sidnei Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Clóvis Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Clóvis Ferreira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Caco Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sidnei Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis Ferreira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in MoNsTaRs's zone, Miguel Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clóvis Ferreira came out of the goal and Miguel Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidnei Urbano took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clóvis Ferreira. Clóvis Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Hélder Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, MoNsTaRs's Hélder Ferraz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdemar Quadros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Sidnei Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Clóvis Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Clóvis Ferreira managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Hendrikx FC's Sidnei Urbano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Ferraz in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Quadros saved Hendrikx FC from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Sidnei Urbano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MoNsTaRs's Clóvis Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save MoNsTaRs from getting a goal against them. Sidnei Urbano struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Clóvis Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hendrikx FC. After the first half MoNsTaRs were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sidnei Urbano was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Hendrikx FC's Sidnei Urbano made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clóvis Ferreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sidnei Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis Ferreira having to interfere. Clóvis Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Galvão in the 61st minute of the match. Sidnei Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Clóvis Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caco Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis Ferreira having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidnei Urbano in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clóvis Ferreira saved MoNsTaRs from getting behind. MoNsTaRs's Clóvis Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Galvão in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Luan Loyola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MoNsTaRs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hendrikx FC the free kick. 76 minutes into the match, MoNsTaRs's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Urbano came free, but Clóvis Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidnei Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis Ferreira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo das Neves in the 80th minute of play forced MoNsTaRs's goalkeeper Clóvis Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MoNsTaRs's zone, Sidnei Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clóvis Ferreira came out of the goal and Sidnei Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hendrikx FC's Sidnei Urbano in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MoNsTaRs's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th minute Miguel Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Sidnei Urbano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clóvis Ferreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Hendrikx FC's Sidnei Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hendrikx FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
