Zé Paulo Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 11th minute Oséias Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Bueno in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Paulo Medeiros saved Marabá PA from getting behind. After 20 played minutes Marabá PA got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Cavalcante. Zé Paulo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Salgado in the 29th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guto Macedo during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Marabá PA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Macedo to maneuver through the defense. If Oséias Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gilberto Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JcUchih's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Paulo Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marabá PA's Zé Paulo Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Marabá PA from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Evandro Salgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85thth minute of the game Gilberto Bueno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marabá PA's Zé Paulo Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gilberto Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the JcUchih fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Bueno couldn't finish the play. After having played for 96 minutes, Kauan Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JcUchih's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauan Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98th minute, Kauan Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over JcUchih could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Marabá PA throughout the match.
