With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidnei Urbano in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomás Gerber saved JcUchih from getting behind. Telmo Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Thomás Gerber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hendrikx FC. Luís Fábio Netto's late challenge caught a JcUchih's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hendrikx FC's Luís Fábio Netto got a free kick in the 41st minute. 43 minutes in the game Leopoldo Paraibano did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hortêncio Lima. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
