The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pojuquinha's Albertinho Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Bueno in the 3rd minute of play. In the 70th minute, Gilberto Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonçalo Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albertinho Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Salgado in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Pojuquinha's goalkeeper Albertinho Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Furtado. In the 80th minute Kauan Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kauan Cruz took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albertinho Velloso. Albertinho Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. 88 minutes into the game, Alex Furtado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albertinho Velloso. Alex Furtado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. JcUchih's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
