Baltazar Mandrak came out of the goal and Hélder Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval de Alcântara in the 12th minute of play forced MoNsTaRs's goalkeeper Clóvis Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Bebeto Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clóvis Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horácio Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. If Durval de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MoNsTaRs's Clóvis Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Catarinense in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, MoNsTaRs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Barreto to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Mathias Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clóvis Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Clóvis Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Los Hurricanes's Horácio Catarinense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clóvis Ferreira. Clóvis Ferreira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Serginho Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Horácio Catarinense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clóvis Ferreira. MoNsTaRs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horácio Catarinense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 81 minutes into the match, MoNsTaRs's goalkeeper Clóvis Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horácio Catarinense. Serginho Eger took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clóvis Ferreira. Clóvis Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Serginho Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Clóvis Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The MoNsTaRs fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Hurricanes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
