Adalberto Ribeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. José Carlos Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalberto Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Panema's Nelson Tande got a free kick in the 38th minute. José Carlos Arósio made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when César de Brito sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Adalberto Ribeiro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 46 minutes into the match, Panema's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Ribeiro came free, but José Carlos Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Ulysses de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Panema's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that César de Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 61 played minutes Panema got a freekick which was hit by Matías Esteves. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 4-0 when César de Brito sped through Panema's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Carlos Arósio. 66 minutes into the game, Túlio Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rio Amazonas Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panema the free kick. A collision led to Rio Amazonas Club getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Túlio Porto hit a great ball. If Tião Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tião Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Tião Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matías Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Mateus Penha made a precise shot to the right of José Carlos Arósio. Panema's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rio Amazonas Club fully deserved thier win.
