Spectators: 7180 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 100) Sapesal's Valdomiro Zonta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Celso Cardozo came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Sapesal's Severino Santana. But to his dismay, Severino Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kléberson Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Bielenda, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Jailson Cardozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sapesal getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Felippe de Medeiros hit a great ball. A collision led to Chakkall TTDS getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Valdemar Soeiro hit a great ball. Kléberson Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Bielenda in the 34th minute of play. Sapesal's Kléberson Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Bielenda in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Clemente Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute of the match, Jailson Cardozo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kléberson Castro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Chakkall TTDS's Sergio Villar got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute of the match Felippe de Medeiros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celso Cardozo skillfully saved the ball. Valdomiro Zonta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sapesal's Kléberson Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Sapesal from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio de Medeiros in the 62nd minute of play forced Chakkall TTDS's goalkeeper Celso Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Chakkall TTDS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. Valdomiro Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Cardozo having to interfere. Clemente Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Villar kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Valdomiro Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Sapesal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdomiro Zonta couldn't finish the play.
