When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Paulista made a kick off. Roberto Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diguinho Vargas was a little too slow when Caio Vides got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-2. Roberto Paulista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Diguinho Vargas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Deivid Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio Vides struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Diguinho Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sapesal. Kléberson Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute.
