Valdomiro Zonta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. Sapesal's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Sapesal getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Valdomiro Zonta hit a great ball. Campos Verdes NFC's Simão Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Campos Verdes NFC from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Rafael Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdomiro Zontas short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Simão Queirós to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 15th minute, Caio Vides ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simão Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Simão Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Zonta in the 21st minute of the match. Simão Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Dráusio Carvalho took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Simão Queirós to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdomiro Zonta got free with Simão Queirós in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Campos Verdes NFC's zone, Valdomiro Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Queirós came out of the goal and Valdomiro Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When Jorge França came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Sapesal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge França couldn't finish the play. Simão Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio Carvalho in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campos Verdes NFC's goalkeeper Simão Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Santana in the 59th minute of play forced Campos Verdes NFC's goalkeeper Simão Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Valdomiro Zonta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Campos Verdes NFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Danilo Meirelles hit a great ball. Gualter Gomes's late challenge caught a Sapesal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualter Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes Campos Verdes NFC got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Gomes. In the 66th minute Dráusio Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Campos Verdes NFC's Simão Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Santana in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Campos Verdes NFC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Santana came free, but Simão Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, Sapesal's Dráusio Carvalho made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simão Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Severino Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Carvalho in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Sapesal's Caio Vides nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simão Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Inácio de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Danilo Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sapesal fully deserved thier win.
