The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Santana got free with Mateus Toscano in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Moradas's goalkeeper Mateus Toscano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdomiro Zonta. Moradas's Mateus Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Vides in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Sapesal's Valdomiro Zonta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateus Toscano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Agnaldo Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Kléberson Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdomiro Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Tande hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes, Régis Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moradas and the Sapesal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Moradas's Régis Pereira got a free kick in the 30th minute. Régis Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Caio Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Severino Santana notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Moradas's Mateus Toscano. Mateus Toscano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd match minute, Sapesal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Linares to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute of the match Rony Ortiz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kléberson Castro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kléberson Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Matos in the 45th minute of play. Severino Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Valdomiro Zonta made the kick off in the second half. Mateus Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Valdomiro Zonta struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Mateus Toscano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sapesal. Severino Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateus Toscano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdomiro Zonta went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sapesal's Caio Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Clemente Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the game, Sapesal's Valdomiro Zonta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateus Toscano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 69th minute Severino Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sapesal's Valdomiro Zonta got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th match minute, Moradas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Mateus Toscano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caio Vides went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 97 minutes into the match, Moradas's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Santana came free, but Mateus Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moradas's Régis Pereira got his second yellow card of the match in the 97th minute. The referee ordered Régis Pereira off the ground. A collision led to Moradas getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Régis Pereira hit a great ball. Sapesal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
