The tension between the Sapesal and the THE PLAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of THE PLAN booed when Sapesal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdomiro Zonta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sapesal's zone, Zé Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléberson Castro came out of the goal and Zé Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge França's late challenge caught a THE PLAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge França helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of THE PLAN booed when Sapesal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kléberson Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. THE PLAN's Matheus Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Santana in the 65th minute of play. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sapesal.
