Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wellington Tasso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cido Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute Nuno Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Veloso struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Célio Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenix FC. Allan Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Allan Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Célio Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Salgueiro's Wellington Tasso in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fenix FC's goalie prevented a goal. 31 minutes into the match, Wellington Tasso notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Fenix FC's Adhemar Silveira. Adhemar Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salgueiro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgar Pimenta in the 45th minute. A nice corner shot did that Edgar Pimenta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adhemar Silveira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fenix FC's Adhemar Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Fenix FC from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Veloso to make the kick off. The Salgueiro fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Salgueiro's Wellington Tasso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Tasso in the 57th minute of play forced Fenix FC's goalkeeper Adhemar Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Fenix FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Antunes. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Wellington Tasso sped through Fenix FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adhemar Silveira. Wellington Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Silveira having to interfere. When Salgueiro's Wellington Tasso in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fenix FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Wellington Tasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenix FC's Adhemar Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Betinho Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fenix FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Giovanni Figueiredo hit a great ball. Fenix FC's Adhemar Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Pimenta in the 73rd minute of play. Wellington Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th match minute, Salgueiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Silveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 79thth minute of the game Wellington Tasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenix FC's Adhemar Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Salgueiro's Wellington Tasso in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fenix FC's goalie prevented a goal. Arlindo Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Silveira having to interfere. Wellington Tasso took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adhemar Silveira. Adhemar Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Wellington Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Silveira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fenix FC's zone, Arlindo Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adhemar Silveira came out of the goal and Arlindo Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salgueiro walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
