Moipora AD's Daniel Rosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Moipora AD from getting a goal against them. When Edinho Breckenfeld fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moipora AD's protests and gave Edinho Breckenfeld a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Moipora AD got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Breckenfeld. Leeds Porto-Alegrense's Leandro Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Couto in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Cássio Tróia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Rosa. Cássio Tróia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cássio Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Hílton Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oséas Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Tróia in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Guerra in the 93rd minute of play forced Moipora AD's goalkeeper Daniel Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
