In the 16th match minute, LoKs EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Leal having to interfere. Maurício Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Henrique Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the LoKs EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Cerezo couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, LoKs EC's Washington Brito dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Impeller FC's Luís Fabiano Albuquerque got a free kick in the 47th minute. Diguinho Medeiros was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrique Munhoz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Impeller FC's goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet Erzan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Diego Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Necdet Erzan. Impeller FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Víktor Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Impeller FC got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Oliveira. After recieving a nice pass, LoKs EC's Diguinho Medeiros tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ahmet Necdet Erzan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Silva in the 65th minute of play. Maurício Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Diego Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Impeller FC's zone, Washington Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Necdet Erzan came out of the goal and Washington Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the game, Henrique Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LoKs EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Impeller FC the free kick. The supporters of Impeller FC booed when LoKs EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LoKs EC's zone, Teodoro Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Leal came out of the goal and Teodoro Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Paulista got free with Maurício Leal in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrique Munhoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurício Leal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Diego Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ahmet Necdet Erzan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diguinho Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Luís Fabiano Albuquerque hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. LoKs EC's Diguinho Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of LoKs EC booed when Impeller FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diguinho Medeiros, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
