Monsanto's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Alfredinho Cavalcante scored to the left of an out of position Dinei Bueno, making the score, 1-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Monsanto fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! In the 15th match minute, Monsanto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd match minute, LIGA3 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Arósio to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Percival Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emerson Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emerson Arósio in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinei Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Alfredinho Cavalcante dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dinei Bueno, 4-0. Wilian Rezende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinei Bueno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alfredinho Cavalcante made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to LIGA3 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Luizão Veiga hit a great ball. Dinei Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emerson Arósio went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Dinei Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kauan Eger during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, one of Monsanto:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Monsanto. Alan Carioca walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Alexandre Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Monsanto's Raúl Sampaio got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Meira in the 89th minute of play forced Monsanto's goalkeeper Dinei Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When LIGA3's Alexandre Meira in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monsanto's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Monsanto's zone, Alfredinho Cavalcante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Monsanto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Meira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.
