The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Raphael Proença rounded LoKs EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. A collision led to SKINAS M.V. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rodriguinho Paranaense hit a great ball. LoKs EC's Washington Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Silva in the 17th minute of play forced SKINAS M.V.'s goalkeeper Andrézinho Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ian Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot. SKINAS M.V.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Linares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurício Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ian Linares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Maurício Leal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Raphael Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Washington Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Washington Brito to make the kick off. Maurício Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After having played for 53 minutes, Raphael Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SKINAS M.V.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ian Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frédson Abreu hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, LoKs EC's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Abreu came free, but Maurício Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
