Spectators: 7046 (Terracing: 5378, Seating: 1648, VIP seats: 20) Andrézinho Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Veloso in the 9th minute of play. When Nuno Veloso came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Fenix FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Veloso couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Fenix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Linares came free, but Adhemar Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nuno Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rodriguinho Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SKINAS M.V.'s protests and gave Rodriguinho Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes SKINAS M.V. got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho Paranaense. The long shot by José Pedro dos Santos in the 28th minute really tested Andrézinho Dracena's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 35 minutes into the match, SKINAS M.V.'s goalkeeper Andrézinho Dracena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Eduardo Antunes. 40 minutes into the match, Fenix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Proença came free, but Adhemar Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Linares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 played minutes Fenix FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Vaz.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Veloso made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Sebastião Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Veloso scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrézinho Dracena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SKINAS M.V.'s Andrézinho Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Vaz in the 64th minute of play. Nuno Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Andrézinho Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos Eduardo Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nuno Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Andrézinho Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Carlos Eduardo Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenix FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Eduardo Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho Dracena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Fenix FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Giovanni Figueiredo hit a great ball. If Raphael Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fenix FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SKINAS M.V. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
