The Moipora AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Hortêncio Couto came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Moipora AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Couto couldn't finish the play. Hortêncio Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nuno Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moipora AD's Daniel Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Vaz in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Oséas Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moipora AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséas Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Moipora AD's Oséas Hoffmann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adhemar Silveira. That made the score 3-0 after 48 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Nuno Veloso made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Hortêncio Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hortêncio Couto struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Adhemar Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moipora AD. The supporters of Fenix FC booed when Moipora AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Veloso in the 71st minute of play forced Moipora AD's goalkeeper Daniel Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Eduardo Antunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Rosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Eduardo Antunes ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 75 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Hortêncio Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moipora AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
