After a rather tough play, Manairama's Magno Ferraz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Laerte Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovani Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Humberto de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Necdet Erzan having to interfere. Henrique Munhoz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geovani Monteiro having to make a save. If Henrique Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Munhoz in the 35th minute of play forced Manairama's goalkeeper Geovani Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovani Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Munhoz's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Humberto de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manairama's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto de Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Necdet Erzan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geovani Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Henrique Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto de Castro to make the kick off. Manairama's Geovani Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Munhoz in the 54th minute of play. Henrique Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Paulo Aparecido's late challenge caught a Manairama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Geovani Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Manairama supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Impeller FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Impeller FC.
