Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Rolante defense, Afonso Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emerson Peres. The Rolante fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emerson Peres should have stopped the shot. Ramiro Vidal struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Emerson Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pindoretama. When Manoel Leme fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rolante's protests and gave Manoel Leme a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Rolante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Leme to maneuver through the defense. Alex Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Juvenal Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Isaltino Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rolante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Eduardo Furtado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Rolante booed when Pindoretama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Pindoretama got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Rocha. Juvenal Rocha took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emerson Peres. Emerson Peres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Isaltino Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Eduardo Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílton Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Peres having to interfere. Allan Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 49th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Massa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 49th match minute, Rolante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Massa to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Afonso Cardoso made the kick off in the second half. Emerson Peres made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Afonso Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Eduardo Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Mendes having to interfere. Afonso Cardoso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Emerson Peres when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Rolante's César de Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaltino Mendes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afonso Cardoso came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emerson Peres could save by the left post. Emerson Peres made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Afonso Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Pindoretama's Afonso Cardoso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Afonso Cardoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emerson Peres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso Cardoso ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Rolante's zone, Afonso Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Peres came out of the goal and Afonso Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 99 minutes into the match, Pindoretama's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Furtado came free, but Isaltino Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pindoretama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
