FC Show's Cléber de Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Oliveira in the 17th minute of play forced FC Show's goalkeeper Paulo José Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Branco in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético da Colina's zone, Nilmar Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Bastos came out of the goal and Nilmar Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luiz Fernando Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nilmar Branco was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Pedro Luiz Rosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo José Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Nilmar Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gilvan Perez 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Nilmar Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Show's Paulo José Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fernando Oliveira in the 75th minute of play. Nilmar Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Show booed when Atlético da Colina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilmar Branco in the 81st minute of the match. Gilvan Perez hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Paulo José Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fernando Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Paulo José Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabinho Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Bastos having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, André Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hílton Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Show were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
