When Lagolandia FC's Erivaldo Trevisan in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rolante's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th match minute, Rolante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. Erivaldo Trevisan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emerson Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erivaldo Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitório Rosado scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emerson Peres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Rolante's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Rosado came free, but Emerson Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emerson Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo Trevisan in the 30th minute of the match. Mané França hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes, Rolante's Fabinho Moura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Vale came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rolante reached it. After having played for 34 minutes, Erivaldo Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagolandia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erivaldo Trevisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Eduardo Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Erivaldo Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Eduardo Furtado to make the kick off. Mané França blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emerson Peres having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Erivaldo Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagolandia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erivaldo Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emerson Peres was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miguel Quintal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 57 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rolante's zone, Chico Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Peres came out of the goal and Chico Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vitório Rosado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emerson Peres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 70 minutes, Erivaldo Trevisan made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Rolante's Emerson Peres tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Erivaldo Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Peres having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Adhemar Sampaio put in a rough tackle. In the 78th minute, one of Rolante:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rolante. The goalkeeper, Emerson Peres, was totally fooled by Lagolandia FC's Erivaldo Trevisan, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Erivaldo Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chico Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erivaldo Trevisan in the 88th minute of play forced Rolante's goalkeeper Emerson Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitório Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chico Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Emerson Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erivaldo Trevisan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 97th playminute. Lagolandia FC played a much better game than Rolante and deserved their victory. The Rolante players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
