Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leopoldo Pirani got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Porto in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubens Lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tales Teles in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rubens Lago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rubens Lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tales Teles in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Sílvio Luís Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Animal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Giovanni Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Tales Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Tales Teles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Rubens Lago throw himself and got hold of the ball when Celso Porto in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Porto in the 37th minute of play forced Animal FC's goalkeeper Rubens Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tales Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Pirani notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Barcelona's Dênis Romero. Dênis Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Animal FC were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Barcelona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jardel Arruda took the corner. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Porto made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Celso Porto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rubens Lago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sílvio Luís Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Dênis Romero made a huge save. When Ciro Donato fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Animal FC's protests and gave Ciro Donato a yellow card for diving instead. Celso Porto struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Rubens Lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelona. Celso Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubens Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Porto in the 69th minute of the match. Dênis Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Donato in the 75th minute of play forced Barcelona's goalkeeper Dênis Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Animal FC's zone, Tales Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubens Lago came out of the goal and Tales Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Ciro Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 played minutes Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Celso Porto. Leopoldo Pirani took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dênis Romero. Dênis Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Teles in the 89th minute of play forced Animal FC's goalkeeper Rubens Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, one of Animal FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Celso Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Animal FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Barcelona's much stronger midfield.
