Benê Mandrak started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Amigo do Lagarteichon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Brito to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Amigo do Lagarteichon's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Ramos came free, but Lino Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benê Mandrak in the 8th minute of the match. Amigo do Lagarteichon's Marcinho Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caetano Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Amigo do Lagarteichon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Vito Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Benê Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Délio Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho Alvarenga in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes RafaelFC got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Vidal. 36 minutes into the match, Amigo do Lagarteichon's goalkeeper Lino Aguiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vito Ramos. In the 42ndth minute of the game Marcinho Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RafaelFC's Délio Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Amigo do Lagarteichon getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Osvaldinho Moura hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabinho Alvarenga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vito Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Aguiar having to interfere. If Benê Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, RafaelFC's Vito Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lino Aguiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. RafaelFC's Benê Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno da Fonseca's late challenge caught a RafaelFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Amigo do Lagarteichon! The referee gave RafaelFC a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Donato Diniz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Amigo do Lagarteichon's Lino Aguiar. 2-0. A collision led to Amigo do Lagarteichon getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Osvaldinho Moura hit a great ball. If Benê Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabinho Alvarenga in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Délio Godoi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabinho Alvarenga in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Délio Godoi saved RafaelFC from getting behind. A collision led to Amigo do Lagarteichon getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Lúcio Brito hit a great ball. RafaelFC's Donato Diniz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Amigo do Lagarteichon. When Fabinho Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Amigo do Lagarteichon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabinho Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Benê Mandrak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lino Aguiar was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. When Benê Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the RafaelFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benê Mandrak couldn't finish the play. After 92nd play minutes Marcinho Marquez shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Délio Godoi and just under the crossbar into goal. Délio Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RafaelFC fully deserved thier win.
