Felix Quilino made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Délio Cosme sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Benigno Jobo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wiliam Souto. MEC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Jobo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 22 played minutes MEC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Bueno. In the 23rdth minute of the game Benigno Jobo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MEC's Wiliam Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benigno Jobo scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wiliam Souto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Jundiahy Football Club's goalkeeper Felix Quilino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruninho de Sena. After 30 minutes, Gilberto Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jundiahy Football Club and the MEC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilberto Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Benigno Jobo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Pedrinho Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimir Quirino made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pedrinho Bueno. In the 40th minute, Walmir Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wiliam Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Reis in the 42nd minute of play. The MEC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jundiahy Football Club were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benigno Jobo to strike the kick off in the second half. Délio Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Felix Quilino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmir Reis struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Wiliam Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jundiahy Football Club. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Bueno in the 56th minute of play forced Jundiahy Football Club's goalkeeper Felix Quilino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Benigno Jobo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jundiahy Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Jundiahy Football Club's Felix Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Bueno in the 79th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jundiahy Football Club defense, Délio Cosme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Quilino. The Jundiahy Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Quilino should have stopped the shot. Pedrinho Bueno scored 3-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Quilino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jundiahy Football Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
