Marcos Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 9 minutes, Maurício Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macacos de Moletom FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurício Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Maurício Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Marcos Brasil came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Triangulo's Waldemar Luz. But to his dismay, Waldemar Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 33 minutes, Henrique Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Triangulo and the Macacos de Moletom FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Macacos de Moletom FC booed when Triangulo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurício Netto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Baltazar Camargo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kauã Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrique Azevedo to make the kick off. Triangulo's Baltazar Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Netto in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Paiva in the 62nd minute of play forced Triangulo's goalkeeper Baltazar Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltazar Camargo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurício Netto went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Baltazar Camargo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurício Netto's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurício Netto in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltazar Camargo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Macacos de Moletom FC's Marcos Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Azevedo in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Netto in the 73rd minute of play forced Triangulo's goalkeeper Baltazar Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute of the match, Waldemar Luz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Brasil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Maurício Netto came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Macacos de Moletom FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Netto couldn't finish the play. The Macacos de Moletom FC fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Macacos de Moletom FC's Maurício Netto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that Macacos de Moletom FC were the better team. Macacos de Moletom FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
