The supporters of Caveira FC booed when Guarapari-ES Esporte Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guilherme Vinhas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Fernandão Dionísio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Guilherme Vinhas fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caveira FC's protests and gave Guilherme Vinhas a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Caveira FC got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Vinhas. Gualter Prado hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute of the match Jardel Paranaense shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruninho Alves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Caveira FC's César Corrêa got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guilherme Vinhas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Fernandão Dionísio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomé de Sousa took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruninho Alves. Bruninho Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bruninho Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Mandrak in the 24th minute of the match. Donato Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Alves having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Marcel Mandrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bruninho Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arthur Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Guilherme Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caveira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilherme Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandão Dionísio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agnaldo Dionísio's late challenge caught a Guarapari-ES Esporte Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agnaldo Dionísio helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Caveira FC! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guilherme Vinhas was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Marcel Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57thth minute of the game Guilherme Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guarapari-ES Esporte Club's Fernandão Dionísio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Caveira FC's Guilherme Vinhas in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomé de Sousa got free with Bruninho Alves in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, Caveira FC's goalkeeper Bruninho Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomé de Sousa. César Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fernandão Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eliseu Donatello came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Caveira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseu Donatello couldn't finish the play. When Caveira FC's Guilherme Vinhas in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fernandão Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernandão Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Vinhas in the 90th minute of the match. Bruninho Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomé de Sousa in the 91st minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guarapari-ES Esporte Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
