The referee showed Erivaldo Braga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Cachorro SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erivaldo Braga to maneuver through the defense. Jefferson Soeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Lopes. Cachorro SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vito Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Lopes having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Cachorro SS's Wilian Loyola dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, E.C. CORINTHIANS LINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Prata came free, but Anísio Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to E.C. CORINTHIANS LINENSE getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rony Costa hit a great ball. José Lopes came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by E.C. CORINTHIANS LINENSE's Alexsandro Loyola. But to his dismay, Alexsandro Loyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Alexsandro Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Erivaldo Braga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. In the 28th minute, Erivaldo Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Vito Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Wilian Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. E.C. CORINTHIANS LINENSE's Anísio Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Loyola in the 44th minute of play. José Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexsandro Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. José Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Vidal in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Vidal in the 56th minute of play forced Cachorro SS's goalkeeper José Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Cachorro SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fábio Prata to maneuver through the defense. José Lopes stood somewhat misplaced when Vito Vidal came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 61 minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Wilian Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachorro SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilian Loyola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexsandro Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. José Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Lopes made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Alexsandro Loyola sent off a good shot on target. Marcel Paranaense charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Paranaense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Durvalino Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Rony Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexsandro Loyola who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of José Lopes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alfredinho Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Lopes having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Luís Fábio Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. E.C. CORINTHIANS LINENSE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
