In the 10th minute, Rafael de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldir Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Marquinhos de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fabrício Gonçalves fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edson gol's protests and gave Fabrício Gonçalves a yellow card for diving instead. Fabrício Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Victor Salgado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bernardo Lopez. Cléberson Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Toscano in the 23rd minute of the match. When Wanderson Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the WHITE HOUSE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wanderson Quirino couldn't finish the play. Wanderson Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Victor Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marquinhos de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cléberson Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, WHITE HOUSE's Marquinhos de Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Laércio de Amaral was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Edson gol's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, WHITE HOUSE's Bernardo Lopez got a free kick in the 58th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Ricardo Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edson gol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute Laércio de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cléberson Coelho made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ricardo Toscano sent off a good shot on target. Victor Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Quirino in the 68th minute of the match. Alfredão Recife hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Wanderson Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Edson gol's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos de Lara came free, but Victor Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marquinhos de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Salgado having to interfere. Marquinhos de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edson gol's Victor Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Quirino in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
