In the 18th minute, Marcos Quirino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo da Fonseca during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raimundo da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Paulo Pinho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Cléberson Coelho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Paulo Pinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cléberson Coelho was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, WHITE HOUSE's goal looked a bit too open when Percival de Souza came free, but Cléberson Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Pinho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cléberson Coelho firmly grabbed it by the left post. Paulo Pinhos short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Cléberson Coelho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In a very dangerous position, a player in PARNAHYBA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! During the 61st minute of the match Sandro Penha completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sandro Penha a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 61 played minutes PARNAHYBA got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Penha. Cléberson Coelho came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by PARNAHYBA's Paulo Pinho. But to his dismay, Paulo Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Paulo Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cléberson Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Coelho having to interfere. Marquinhos de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Cléber Paraibano made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Pinho in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cléberson Coelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When PARNAHYBA's Paulo Pinho in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WHITE HOUSE's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pinho in the 90th minute of play forced WHITE HOUSE's goalkeeper Cléberson Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cléberson Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Paulo Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Coelho having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PARNAHYBA had played much better football throughout.
