Jaime Xavier might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cléberson Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Xavier ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Quirino in the 17th minute of play forced S.C. Brutamontes's goalkeeper Percy Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, S.C. Brutamontes's Aloísio Oliveira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Adriano Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Brutamontes got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Alagoano. In the 32nd minute, Marquinhos de Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WHITE HOUSE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Percy Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Bernardo Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. WHITE HOUSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wanderson Quirino was the one to do the kick off. If Wanderson Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, S.C. Brutamontes's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Quirino came free, but Percy Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aloísio Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Wanderson Quirino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Percy Prestes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. WHITE HOUSE were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over S.C. Brutamontes's much stronger midfield.
